We're here

We arrived in Paris about 8.30am local time which would be 3.30am on PEI. Our room wasn't ready so we walked to the Eiffel tower which is about 4km away but looks closer due to its size. You wouldn't believe the motorcycle drivers here they are crazy. We came into the city on a 40 passenger bus with only 4 people on it and they were cutting in and out of traffic and going between lanes of cars and not poking either. We go out for supper with our group at 6pm. Tomorrow we tour Paris and I think go to Versailles in the afternoon. Talk to you after tomorrow is done.

  2. Please tell me it wasn't either of you that caused the bomb scare at the Eiffel Tower!!! Glad you're having fun, love the pictures. All is well here :)

  3. Hey Mo, Did not know about the bomb scare, we were there in the morning that must have been been later. There are army men with machine gums at all the sites. We had a nice dinner tonight 5 courses at a real french restaurant with an accordian player lots of wine. I had quiche and salad to start then duck ala orange, cheese tray, and nougat ice cream with crushed nuts on the top for desert. Susan had the quiche and salad, beef stew, cheese, and chocolate cake with vanilla sauce. The meal was very good. The are people from all over Canada on the tour. The youngest being about 40 to the oldest being at least 2 WW2 veterans. I hope the vets will tell us a bit about there experiences as the tour goes along.
